Make an Orange Juice Picture Frame
The next time you have a picture that you just cannot find a frame for, stop rushing around looking at all the stores. Just empty out a carton of orange juice, rinse it, and make your very own frame.
Steps
- Empty a carton of orange juice.
- Rinse it out with cold water to remove the orange scent and residue.
- Dry thoroughly to prevent residue from growing
- Cut one panel off the carton carefully with a knife.
- Cut a hole about 3" x 4" (75 mm by 100 mm) in the center.
- Fold the carton in and out like you were making a fan in about ½" (10 mm) intervals from the edge.
- Punch holes in the top and bottom and slip a straw through them.
- Place your favorite picture inside.
Tips
- When you "empty" the orange juice, empty it in a clean, glass/ceramic dish, so you or someone can drink it.
- Buy different brands of orange juice to make a collection of frames.
- Of course you can do the same with other heavy paper products, construction paper, 6-pack beverage containers, frozen food packaging, etc.
