Make Greco Roman Ravioli
This is a recipe for a type of Greco-Roman ravioli. It is great served with fresh salad and olives. Unlike Italian ravioli, there is no need for a sauce. If you want something over the top, drizzle some extra virgin olive oil. Bon appetit!
Ingredients
- Feta Cheese
- Ravioli skins
- Garlic
- Onion
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salad & olives for serving
Steps
- Brown Feta cheese in olive oil in a saucepan.
- Brown chopped onions and garlic.
- Stuff the cheese, onion and garlic mix inside the ravioli skin. Pinch shut.
- Cook the ravioli like a dumpling in boiling water. Cook for about 8 minutes. Keep a watch for it becoming overcooked, namely starting to fall apart.
- Serve on a platter with olives and spinach-tomato salad.
Tips
- Try various types of flour, such as brown rice flour, lentil flour, or wholegrain flour mixed with almond meal.
- Extra virgin olive oil is best.
