Make Mayonnaise Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1/2 cup (169 g) mayonnaise
- 2 cups (225 g) Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF/220ºC.
- Line a baking sheet or casserole dish with foil.
- Prepare your dipping bowls. Add the mayonnaise to a small bowl and the bread crumbs in another.
- Dip the chicken into the mayonnaise. Be sure to coat it only with a thin layer, as thick layers will result in a wetted-down chicken and will overpower the entire dish.
- Thoroughly coat the chicken with the bread crumbs.
- Add the chicken to the pre-lined sheet or dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve with steamed white rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
Tips
- Adding different seasonings to the bread crumbs, such as garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, and pepper will give the chicken a great spice taste to it.
- Coarse bread crumbs will give a crisper dish and will cover the mayonnaise better than fine crumbs.
- This recipe can easily be made by estimating the mayonnaise and bread crumb amounts on a ratio to the amount of chicken pieces you have.
