  1. Preheat the oven to 425ºF/220ºC.
  2. Line a baking sheet or casserole dish with foil.
  3. Prepare your dipping bowls. Add the mayonnaise to a small bowl and the bread crumbs in another.
  4. Dip the chicken into the mayonnaise. Be sure to coat it only with a thin layer, as thick layers will result in a wetted-down chicken and will overpower the entire dish.
  5. Thoroughly coat the chicken with the bread crumbs.
  6. Add the chicken to the pre-lined sheet or dish.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  8. Serve with steamed white rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.

Tips

  • Adding different seasonings to the bread crumbs, such as garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, and pepper will give the chicken a great spice taste to it.
  • Coarse bread crumbs will give a crisper dish and will cover the mayonnaise better than fine crumbs.
  • This recipe can easily be made by estimating the mayonnaise and bread crumb amounts on a ratio to the amount of chicken pieces you have.
