Make Money in RuneScape by Runecrafting Air Runes

It is hard to make money in RuneScape sometimes, but this method works for all players. All it takes is time and patience. All you need is a Runecrafting level of 1 to make air runes, but for this method "22 Runecrafting" and the completion of "Rune Mysteries" are required.

Steps

  1. Mine your own essence for your Runecrafting level goal or get the amount of air runes you want to sell. (Calculate how much money you will get from the essence you have once you make air runes out of all of it.)
  2. Buy an air talisman or tiara (you can get a free air talisman after "Rune Mysteries") to make air runes. To make an air tiara: Bring an air talisman and a tiara into the air altar. Use the tiara with the altar, and your talisman will fuse into the tiara, making an air tiara.
  3. Go into the altar with a full inventory of rune essence. Make air runes. At higher levels you can make multiple runes from one essence. If you have 1k essences, then you will make 3k air runes, and you can sell them all at 45k which is a 15k profit from which you bought the essence.
    • Here is a useful chart to track what you should do with so much money and how much essence you should buy:
      • 1k essences will be 3k air runes, which equals 45k. Buy another 1k essences, make air runes out of them, and sell for 45k. Now, amazingly, you have 60k.
      • Buy 2k essences for 60k. (You have no more money, but it's fine.) Make air runes out of all of it! You will have 6k air runes.
      • Sell those, and get 90k. Buy 3k essences!
      • Make 9k air runes out of that, and get 135k.
  4. Keep making profit and keep raising your Runecrafting level. Soon you will be rich! And, someday you will be able to make chaos runes, nature runes, or even law runes! You may even do better than that.

Fast Way

  1. Go to the Runespan above the Magic Guild.
  2. Train up to level 33 Runecrafting. This will happen in no time.
  3. Buy an air tiara.
  4. Go to Grand Exchange.
  5. Buy Rune Essence.
  6. Go to Varrock West Bank and start to craft Runes.

Tips

  • The higher your Runecrafting level, the more money you can make!
  • Don't start this skill at only 1 Runcrafting, or else you will lose 30 gp per essence once you make an air rune out of it (obviously essence is 60 ea)
  • Make lots of air runes at once, at least 1k at a time because people like to buy them in bulk.
  • Be patient! Think of all the cash you will make once you're done with these runes, then you can bear it!
  • Don't bother spending time on making air runes so slowly, a quicker way is to go to world 16(sever name:3789245a)and find someone open but not open for money, open for air runes because they might offer 100 air runes instead of an inventory full(this is related to air running).
  • Some of these prices may not be accurate. Check out the Grand Exchange prices for more information.
  • Sell them in crowded worlds like 1, 3, 4, or 5 if you want to sell quickly.
  • Try world 16 and learn how to do it for yourself. (Go to world 16, air altar, and type in "[whatever your name is] open 2k + ess!!!") this means you will give 2,000 gp + 25 noted ess for only 25 unnoted ess. This may seem crazy, but at a higher Runecrafting level you can make a profit and you get tons of air runes quickly.
  • If you have a lot of time, you can make air runes out of 10k essences, which will make lots of money!
  • Remember, always be frugal and don't spend your money hastily.

Warnings

  • Try to fight boredom, because you will get bored, since, unfortunately, this is a very monotonous skill.
  • Don't let people persuade you to lower your price of air runes! 15 each is a perfect price and if people can't afford that don't trade them. If you lower your price you can't make a good profit and you will be a weak trader. Plus all that hard work will be for nothing!
