Steps

Combat

  1. Get to level 3-4: Kill chickens for feathers and sell them at the GE. They sell for about 7GP each. You don't need to do this a lot, as it is just for a little money. You can find them at the chicken coop just north of the cows.
  2. Move up to levels 4-26: Kill cows, take the cowhides and bank them. They sell for about 200gp. DO NOT SELL THEM! You won't need armor yet. When you have a decent amount (about 140), get the money from the feathers and receive 10GP, then go through the tollgate to Al-kharid. Then to the bank, get out all your money and 27 cowhides. Next, go to the tanner and tan them for 1 coin each. This will make the price go up quite a bit! You can find the cows when you leave Lumbridge Castle. You will see a bridge, cross it and go North.
  3. Move up to levels 26-55: Kill Hill-giants! You should have some good armor by this time. They drop big bones which are worth around 500GP! However, getting to them is a bit complicated. First you need to buy a brass key. Go out the south entrance of the G.E. and go West. When you get come across the bridge to Barbarian Village do not cross it, but go North. Soon you will see a small building with a ladder. You will need the brass key to go through the door. Enter the building and go down the ladder. Then you are there.
  4. Move up to Levels 55-70: Now you have a choice. You can either carry on killing Hill giants or start with Hobgoblins. They can drop Limpwurt roots. They are worth 2k each! But they do not drop them every time. The Hobgoblins are found just north of the Hill giants.
  5. Move to Levels 70-100: Now you have a bigger choice. You can kill lesser demons which can drop rune med helms or you can kill cockroach soldiers which can drop rune scimitars and rune square shield. Both of these do not drop these items every time you kill them. Lesser demons can be found at Crandor Island. There are other places but i do not recommend them. You can find Cockroach soldiers just north of barbarian village but south from edgeville. You will see a classroom with a trapdoor connected to it. Go down it and then pull back the poster.
  6. Move up to Levels 100-126 Kill greater demons. They can drop rune full helms and rune maces. They can be found in deep wilderness and the dungeon with elvarg in it.

Bones

  1. Kill goblins or npc around a bank.
  2. Collect bones and sell at G.E in large quantities.
    • OPTIONAL: Buy for low, sell for high.

Wood cutting for levels 15-60

  1. Grab your axe.
  2. Train until you get level 15 Wood cutting.
  3. Cut oak logs and sell in G.E.

Smithing

  1. People with level 30 smithing or higher, skip steps 1-3.
  2. Go and do the knights sword quest if you haven't already done it.
  3. After you have done it and gotten your smithing xp ( Boosts from level 1-29)go and buy tin and copper.
  4. Make bronze bars until level 30 smithing.
  5. Buy coal and iron ores. Ratio for coal/iron is 2/1
  6. Make your steel bars!

Mining

  1. Get your level up so you can mine iron or coal
  2. Mine away! If you smith and mine, use the iron you mine to make steel, but if you mine coal you can save it or keep it depending.
    • Levels 1-15 Mine half an inventory of copper and half of tin then bank them. Try to start with an iron pickaxe. At level 6 get a steel pickaxe. This isn't a very good way to make money but once u get a bit higher, you will get more money. You can find copper and tin south of Lumbridge graveyard. If u have done the Rune mysteries quest then u can mine rune essence but i wouldn't recommend it as when you are level 15 there is a much better way.
    • Levels 15-55 Mine iron! It is very quick and easy. Now if you have a combat level of at least 29, i would recommend the dwarven mines. Beware there are scorpions but they won't attack you unless u attack them but the king scorpions will attack you they are level 32!1 iron ore is worth around 270gp each!
    • Levels 55-70 Now i know u could have mined silver, coal and gold by now but all of those ores are worth only a tiny bit more than an iron ore and u can mine iron very quickly. Now u can mine mithril! I would recommend mining iron and when u see some mithril mine it so u have about 4 mithril ores with 24 iron ores, because mithril takes a very long time to respawn!Mithril can be found in the dwarven mines.
    • Levels 70-85 Now mine adamantite and mithril together. 1 adamantite ore is worth over 1 thousand! Adamantite can be mined in the Dwarven mines.
    • Levels 85-99 Congratulations you can now mine runite ores and have accessed one of the best money making methods if the game! 1 runite ore is worth 14 thousand each! There is a problem of course. There are 2 runite rocks in lvl 46 wildly! just bring some food in case of pkers..do not wear any armor it won't help unless you have the dungeoneering level there are 2 more rocks in dwarf mine secret mining area. its safe but tends to be crowded.

Fishing

  1. Get 50-60 fishing and hit the docks at karamja
  2. Fish until you have a full inventory and note them theres a npc toward volcano that can note them for you!

Cow Hides

  1. Collect or buy cow hides.
  2. Tan your hides and sell at G.E for 15-50 gold over market price.

Warnings

  • It is strongly advised that you don't make gold bars. If you have so much money that you can waste like that, you shouldn't be reading this!
  • Get Stiles to replace your inventory of fish with bank notes, and it frees up space in your pack. Stiles is located opposite the island from the fishing docks. Stiles can bank note swordfish, lobsters, tuna, and a few more. He is prominent in f2p money-making.
