Make Loads of Money on Runescape Using the Grand Exchange
Tired of selling stuff half off to the general store? Use the Grand Exchange in Varrock! It's all about buying and selling items to other players.
Steps
- Go to the most crowded Members or Free server. Then head on to the Runescape Grand Exchange.
- Have at least 20k. If you have too little gp, you will not be able to take full advantage of the Grand Exchange
- Look for items that have a good price range. A price range of at least 20% - 50% would be great. For example, item A lowest price is at 50 gp, and highest price is 75 gp, that means this item would have a price range of at least 50%.
- Monitor the price of this item. When the item hit the low price range of 50gp, buy the item. Now that you have 1 million, you have invest the maximum amount the item allows..
- Wait till the item hits 75 gp, then sell away the item.
- This might take a few days to do so. In this way, you would have got 1.5 million gp in a few days.
Tips
- For step 6, use something that gives the highest xp per item in any particular skill. Here are a few suggestions:
- Yew, oak, or Magic logs (at least 60 woodcutting is needed for these so a lot of people buy them for firemaking)
- Runite ores or bars (one of the most highest level needed ores. People buy for smithing).
- Rune or higher armor, weapons, or tools (People use these to really crank their combat, woodcutting, and Mine in RuneScape skills).
- Sell potions (Members Only). People pay big bucks because of the bonuses they give for people going pk'ing.
- Planks (Members Only) People surprisingly are too lazy to get them on their own, and try been selling full inventories of normal planks for 200 gold a piece! (200x28 is around 5k!).
- Members only items (Brand new members like to buy cheap stuff that only members can get such as spiny helmets so they can show off in the free worlds.) Plus, they are very expensive. Dragon armor is really popular. Sell it for a lot.
- Pretty much anything that you can imagine people use a lot will sell. (Except tinderboxes, bronze-iron stuff, and other necessities everyone can pay a lot less for at a general store)
Warnings
- Prices drop fast so expect to earn 10k one minute and 2k the next or get 20k.
- Oaks, Yews, Magic, and Regular Logs sell well.
- This is very addictive.
- You may lose some money if you are impatient.
