Make Rice With Milk
Making rice with milk is very easy, and very tasty.

Ingredients
Stove Top Method:
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3 cups of rice
- ΒΌ teaspoon of ground cinnamon or 2 cinnamon sticks (optional)
Microwave Method:
- Precooked rice
- Milk
- Dash of cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Dash of allspice
- 2 drops of vanilla
- Sugar, to taste
Steps
Stove Top Method
- Pour 4 cups of milk into a pot and let sit for 2 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of sugar to the milk.
- Add three cups of rice.
- Cook for seven minutes over a medium high heat (we don't want to scorch the milk) until it begins to boil.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the rice.
- Turn the heat down to low.
- Cover the pot and let it sit for eight minutes.
- In place of ground cinnamon use 2 cinnamon stick broken in half and let the cinnamon sticks boil with milk in step 2. Remove sticks before adding rice.
Microwave Method
- Add precooked rice to microwavable bowl. Add just enough to fill you; or enough to fill approximately 2/3 of the bowl.
- Add milk to the bowl. Add just enough so the milk almost covers the rice.
- Microwave the milk and rice for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Time may vary depending on microwave.
- Remove from the microwave and add the following.
- Dash of cinnamon
- Dash of nutmeg
- Dash of allspice
- Two drops of vanilla
- Sugar to taste
- Stir thoroughly. Enjoy!
- Finished.
