Make a Banana Custard Dessert
An old-fashioned banana custard dessert recipe for a dessert that is quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
Preparation time - 5 minutes.
- 6 Bananas, very ripe
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 Eggs
- pinch of Ginger
Steps
- Choose ripe bananas, peel and slice them up.
- Lay them in a glass dish, sprinkle with sugar.
- Make a custard with the milk and yolks of the eggs by directions for Make Boiled Custard.
- Flavour with a pinch of ginger, and pour it over the bananas.
- Let it stand until quite cold, then whip the whites to a very stiff froth and heap them on top; sprinkle with sugar, and serve.
