Make a Car Seem Like a Limo

Are you having a party coming up and are traveling a long way with your friends, but you can't rent a limo and have to stick to a cramped car? Here is how to make your car feel like a limo!

Steps

  1. Clean out your car. Your car will seem nothing like a limo if there are pop cans and Dorito crumbs all over the floor, a limo is usually clean! Make it seem like this is practically a brand new car!
  2. Get a cooler bag and put it in a free space in the car. Try to find a space that will be out the way so whoever has to sit near it doesn't get bothered. Fill the cooler up with some good drinks, like pink lemonade, grape juice, pop, etc.. If you want to make it fancy, you can add some (plastic) fancy clear cups, curly straws, or even an umbrella for your drink.
  3. Try to block out the driver so it seems more private. Usually limos have a dark screen that is soundproof which can go up, but since you do not have a limo, you have to make it. maybe try to put a blanket in between the passengers seat and the drivers seat, but leaving a space on the top so your driver can see the back window. If you want it a fancy theme, choose a white or black blanket. If you want a fun party theme, choose rainbow or polka dot blanket. This blanket brings out the theme in your "limo"!
  4. Tell the driver not to talk as much. If you were riding a limo usually the driver would not talk at all, either because he is not supposed to or because there is a wall between him/her and the guests. If your parent is driving you, usually they would talk to your friends like "So what are you doing next weekend?" or "How are you?" and stuff like that, and like step 3, you want your fun car ride more private, so try to tell your driver not to talk that much. If they do talk it makes the blanket seem invisible!
  5. Decorate! Maybe add some snowflakes around the windows, or get window chalk and decorate the windows of your car. You could hang things on the ceiling, but not where someones head could be, because with a big snowflake dangling in your face your car trip could get annoying.
  6. Get a DVD player for your car! Find a good place to put it and so you and your guests can watch a movie. If your guests are sitting in the middle and back seat and some can't see the movie, get 2 DVD players or possibly take turns!
  7. Have fun little goody bags to make a long, boring trip fun! It could be the most simplest things that entertain someone for a half hour! Avoid getting anything like a puzzle or a piece of paper to draw on, because the car can get bumpy and there isn't much of a flat surface. Get marble mazes, cute little stuffed animals, or even a mini snow globe!
  8. Add on things to make a cramped car ride relaxing. Give your guests a little pillow or cup holders.
  9. Have fun! It doesn't seem like a limo if it doesn't feel like it, so have fun!
