Make a Chilled Fruit Salad
Summer is near and your cold sweet dessert is hereĀ ! The same old usual salad with a blend of milk and honey .
Ingredients
- sweet condensed milk or full cream milk.
- fruits
- honey
- ice--cream
- sugar
- food coloring agents or chocolate syrup
Steps
- Its completely up to to you as what fruits to choose and by how much.
- Wash all fruits and slice them up.
- Add these sliced fruit pieces to a large bowl.
- Pour sweet condensed milk or full cream milk.
- You can add either sugar or honey to taste.
- Mix well and place the bowl in the refrigerator to cool.
- Serve chilled with a scoop of ice-cream.
Tips
- If you can't find sweet condensed milk, add enough sugar to fresh milk, mix well and pour it over the fruits.
- This is a great treat for kids who don't like to eat much fruits.
- If you have an unexpected guest and don't have much time to prepare a quick snack...this sweet dessert serves a real treat for them.
- You can even be creative by adding healthy food colorings or plain chocolate syrup.
- Make sure you choose fruits that are not too sweet...like kiwi, orange, strawberry, etc.
Warnings
- Avoid eating canned fruit salads...be always natural.
- Don't keep the fruit salad for more than 5 days in your fridge as milk tends to get spoiled pretty quickly.
