Make a Three Fold Duct Tape Wallet
Do you need a new wallet? Or are you just looking to make a great do-it-yourself project? Either way this project makes a great choice.
Steps
- Make a piece of duct tape fabric the length of a dollar; 4 strips in height (top to bottom).
- With the strips running horizontally, fold the sheet in half hamburger-style.
- Tape both side ends shut. Leave the top open. This will be the bill pouch.
- Make a piece of fabric the height of the wallet and 2 strips wide (left to right).
- Tape that on the right side of the wallet.
- To make a pocket, make a piece of fabric the width of the third fold. Tape the pockets from the top-down.
- Fold the wallet by taking the third fold and folding it up and closing the wallet like a book.
Tips
- When making the fabric, make sure there are no air bubbles.
- Decorate with colored duct tape.
- Remember if you mess up, you can always try again.
- Make sure you have a lot of extra duct tape if you mess up.
- To make a multi-pocketed third fold, go from the top down.
Warnings
- If using scissors or a knife, be careful not to cut yourself.
