Present a Rose from Nowhere
Almost a magic trick, presenting a rose from "nowhere" is a suave move if you do it the right way. Watch your sweetie swoon with delight!

Steps
- Select the flower that you want to present.
- Wear a top or coat that has loose long sleeves. Place your flower gently up one sleeve, petals up.
- Walk up to your sweetie. Using your non-rose hand, make a pinching pose in the air.
- Bring the hand with the rose close to the pinching hand.
- Pinch the rose on the upper stem.
- Move the rose hand down while the pinching hand remains still.
- VoilĂ ! Your rose seems to appear out of nowhere.
- Hand it to your sweetie with a big smile.
Tips
- Long flowers with a stiff stalk work better, because they won't droop or get caught on your sleeve.
- If you want to try it with your sleeves, practice a couple times beforehand, unless you are content with displaying the "clumsy cute" look.
- The effect could be heightened if you could try to attach a small paper, maybe a note or a love poem. It's best to use tape, or something less visible; definitely not white glue!
Warnings
- Be gentle, or you may damage the flower you are attempting to give as a present.
- If it is a rose, it's a good idea to remove the thorns carefully with a knife so that you don't cut yourself, but this can somehow destroy the romance or the general magic of the trick by showing that the rose was prepared earlier.
