Remove Accounts on Android
This article teaches you how to remove unneeded accounts from your Android phone or tablet.

Steps
- Open your Android’s Settings. Look for a Template:Android or wrench icon on your home screen. If you don’t see it there, you’ll find it in the app drawer.
- Scroll down and tap Accounts. If you don’t have the option to tap “Accounts” but see a list a list of your accounts displayed, you can skip this step.
- Select an account to remove. You can remove any of the displayed accounts, including apps like Twitter and WhatsApp.
- Tap ⁝. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. A pop-up menu will appear.
- If you don’t see this option, tap the account you want to remove once more. You should now see button at the bottom of the screen that says “Remove Account.”
- Tap Remove Account.
- Tap Remove Account to confirm. The account is no longer active on your Android.
- If you deleted an account for an app (e.g. Twitter, WhatsApp), you will no longer be logged into the app.
