Remove Crayon from Wallpaper

So your kid has made an artwork again on a wall with crayons? Or some babysitting gone wrong? No matter how you got to the this point, no need to worry. Here's how to remove crayon from the wall.

Steps

Powdered Dish Soap

  1. Wet the sponge with warm water.
  2. Pour the dish washing powder on the wet sponge.
  3. Get a good lather. To do this, rub the soap in the sponge a bit. Add more water if needed.
  4. Scrub the sponge on the crayon marks. Use a medium amount of pressure.
  5. Repeat if necessary. If the sponge starts to dry out before all the crayon is gone, wet it with warm water and add soap again.
  6. Wipe away residue. Use a damp cloth, paper towel, or sponge to wipe away any leftover soap from the wall.
  7. Dry the wall. Use a dry cloth or paper towel to dry the wall completely.

Baking Soda

  1. Wet the sponge with warm water. Squeeze out some of the water so that it doesn't drip.
  2. Add about a tablespoon of baking soda. Put it directly on the center of the sponge.
  3. Make a paste with the baking soda. Use a finger to rub it into the sponge. The baking soda will absorb water. Rub the baking soda and add more water if needed until you have a thick white paste on the sponge.
  4. Scrub the crayon marks. Use a medium amount of pressure.
  5. Repeat if necessary. If the sponge starts to dry out before all the crayon is gone, wet it and add more baking soda.
  6. Wipe away residue. Use a damp cloth, paper towel, or sponge to wipe away any leftover baking soda from the wall.
  7. Dry the wall. Use a dry cloth or paper towel to dry the wall completely.
