Un Hide Folders and Files on XP
Instead of using the old "Switch to classic" mode, which can actually cause problems, use this way.

Steps
- Find the folder that is hidden, or contains hidden files.
- Click "Tools".
- Click "Folder Options...".
- Click "View".
- Look for the subcategory called "Hidden Files and Folders"
- Check off the "Show hidden files and folders" radio button.
Tips
- Try not to hide files you use a lot, or files that are important
Warnings
- Don't be dumb and fiddle with the other settings unless you know what you're doing. Most of the settings won't harm your computer, but they could give you a headache.
