Use Your Graphing Calculator to Cheat on a Mathematical Test

Want to become the best cheater without having to wander around at students' test? Did you get caught by sharing a calculator that communicates with another student? Then, here is a terrific way of cheating the test!

Steps

  1. Type random formulas and notes in your graphing calculator.
  2. To type letters, press [2nd] and [ALPHA]. Then, type some notes. Click [ALPHA] to type math symbols and numbers.
  3. Click [MATH] to type mathematics symbols.
  4. Don't click enter when solving the problems. Click [2nd] and [MATH] to type "greater than", "less than", etc. symbols. (ex. Type [3][+][2][2nd][MATH][1] to get 3+2=5)
  5. Make sure that your words are not split apart. (ex. You typed "Bedroom", and the screen in the calculator displays "BE" on the top right and "DROOM" on the 2nd top left.) Skip some spaces by pressing [2nd], [ALPHA], and some spaces that are left on the line.
  6. Press [ENTER] after typing all notes and formulas.
  7. You'll see "ERR: SYNTAX....Goto." Press "Quit." Then, clear everything. If you accidentally type notes incorrectly, press [2] or press "Goto" to revise them. Then, follow step 6 after you finish.
  8. To check back your notes and formulas, press [2nd] and [ENTER]. Your notes are displayed.
  9. When the test begins, show your work in the calculator and copy it. If you don't know something, then press random times of [2nd][ENTER] until the notes appear in the screen.

Tips

  • Make sure that your graphing calculators don't contain programs because when your teacher comes to students and check their calculators to see if there are programs, then that teacher will reset the calculators. It's recommended that you use an extra graphing calculator that doesn't contain programs.
  • Follow those steps in correct order before entering the class; otherwise, your teacher will see you adding notes and formulas to your calculator and will decide to reset your calculator when the exam begins.
  • Don't type too many notes; otherwise, you'll waste your time finding the correct answers.
  • Typing the solved problems in your graphing is quicker than just typing formulas and notes, so you are able to follow the same ways on solving the similar problems in the test.
  • When the test begins, don't show too many works; otherwise your typed notes will be removed.

Warnings

  • Many colleges and even some school exams specify which calculators students are allowed to bring into the exam, and graphing calculators are often banned.
  • If you get caught cheating, your teacher will tell you to leave the class or go to the headteacher or principal's office. You might get an automatic zero on the test, be suspended or your teacher might call your parents to meet him/her in his/her room for conference.
  • It's recommended not to cheat on the test because cheating during the test is very risky technique, so don't do it.
