Access Dropbox on a Mobile Device

Dropbox is an online file storage service that allows users to upload, share, and access files and folders via mobile and desktop applications as well as a browser-based interface. Steps

Dropbox mobile site

  1. Go to the Dropbox mobile site in your mobile device’s internet browser. Note: If you navigate to the regular Dropbox website, you should automatically be redirected to the mobile site.

Dropbox for iPhone/iPad

  1. Launch the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Search for “Dropbox” in the search tab and select the Dropbox app from the search results.
  3. Tap the “Free” button followed by the “Install” button.
  4. Enter your Apple ID and tap the "OK" button to install the Dropbox app to your device.

Dropbox for Android

  1. Go to the Dropbox Android page and click the “Download App” button to download the Dropbox for Android app.
    • Alternatively, you can scan the QR Code below to download the app.

Dropbox for BlackBerry

  1. Go to the Dropbox BlackBerry download page.
  2. Select “Reboot” to restart your BlackBerry.
  3. Press the Menu button and navigate to the Downloads folder to access the Dropbox app.

  • Folders within your Public folder cannot be shared.
