Be Like Naruto Uzumaki

Ever wanted to be just like Naruto, personality-wise and not anime-wise? Well, it seems like a lot of people, even in the real world admire that hyperactive, perverted little squirt. If you’re someone who got inspired by him and want to be like that yourself, you’ve come to the right place. Read on…

Steps

  1. Change your perspective. Knock out all that negative vibe on your heart, kick vengeance out and scratch away all that hatred. Naruto proved that his heart was pure from all that when he fought off Dark-Naruto, remember? You should do the same. Always find a reason to be happy. Set goals that you want to achieve in the future and don't let obstacles stop it, Naruto always wanted to become Hokage and didn't let small fights get to him, he always got up and kept going.
  2. Cultivate the seed of perseverance in your heart. Don’t ever give up! Life is wired to scare us and turn us pessimistic but, you’ve got to push through with the right attitude. Naruto wasn’t so optimistic from the start; he scared the life out of himself when faced with Zabuza for the first time, he wanted to run away but, he didn’t. He faced the challenge and took the horse by its reins. Don’t back down when challenges look you dead in the eye.
  3. Be acknowledgement-craving and praise-loving. Always try to attract people’s attention in whatever petty thing you do. Not only will this push you out of your comfort zone but also give you a motivation to perfect whatever you’re doing. Always try to juice-out praise; it can give you a boost of self-esteem!
  4. Keep that goal at heart. It can be anything from academics to breaking a habit. Always remind yourself of what you’re working towards.
  5. Befriend those out of the spotlight and those who you share a lot on common with. Remember how much Naruto used to hate Sasuke because he was so popular? However, towards the end, he found a common ground with Sasuke and the two became quite close. Don’t think you’re ego’s going to be hurt if you talk to that girl/boy who sits at the back of the class –they’re human too! Treat everyone the same and keep those who you’ve got a lot in common with close to heart.
  6. Love unconditionally. The whole plot of Shippuden surrounds Naruto trying to bring Sasuke back or, at least, erase that sense of revenge from his heart because it’s wrong. Once you love someone, love them unconditionally and dearly and don’t be afraid to go all the way for them.
  7. Always keep those lips curled. Never stop smiling, even if you’re having a bad day. Smiling brings a light of hope and joy to the people around you, regardless of the situation’s intensity. Always be the one to light the dark path.
  8. Be loud, hyper and confident. These literally define Naruto. Let your voice be heard and refuse to feel lower than anyone. Call yourself the best and Believe it!
  9. Work your blood, sweat and tears to reach your goals. Study hard, take extra classes or whatever you need to ace academics –if that’s your goal. Practice as much as possible, train your body and mind and eat right if becoming the world’s greatest athlete is your goal. Whatever it may be, don’t stop till you’ve reached/become what you’ve dreamed.
  10. Be bound by your words. Once you make a promise –Never go back on it! Learn to keep secrets and be trustworthy.
  11. Use less words and more action. Naruto never needed too many words to make friends and he didn’t use too much word to show how much he cared about Sasuke, Sakura and the village as a whole. Let your actions speak for you. People will admire you for that.
  12. Have some silly obsession that characterizes you. This shows your individuality and fun-ness. Naruto is obsessed with ramen. What are you obsessed with? These will give you a random topic to discuss about when you’re bored –just make sure you’re not over doing it or the other person can become annoyed.

Tips

  • After waking up each day, repeat “Today’s the day I’m going to outshine everyone!” as many times as needed until you’ve truly believed it!
  • Start putting up more colorful things around you. It’ll make you feel much happier and cheerful. It can be anything from your desktop wallpaper and notebooks to the color of your room and clothes.
  • Talk and laugh as much as possible. Don’t let a speck of negativity hang inside you.
  • Smile!
  • Watch the anime or read the manga thoroughly to get a grip of Naruto.
  • Have fun while doing this, it is a great way to boost self-confidence.
  • Have your goals with you at all time so when you finish one, get going on the next one.

Warnings

  • If you fail sometimes –don’t sweat it! You are human and mistakes are bound to happen. Taking these failures positively can help you learn!
  • Concealing all your emotions under a smile, does not mean you have to keep things bottled-up all the time. Talk to someone you trust about things that are really bothering you –get it all out, it’s easier that way.
  • Don’t ditch your old friends just because they’re popular and are your opposites. It’s also true that opposites attract.
  • Don’t be so loud to a point where you annoy people.
  • Naruto has some characteristics. He is: perverted, disrespectful, impatient, a prankster and so on. You shouldn’t adopt these. These were his shortcomings and you want to be the good part of Naruto, not the stupid part!
  • Just because you wish to be ‘like’ Naruto, doesn’t mean you should abandon your own personality. It’s more like having a ‘Naruto Enhancement’, not a transition into a ‘Naruto Wannabe’!
  • Don't get to obsessed with becoming exactly like him, you should still have a way of identifying you
  • Obsessions depend solely upon you, it doesn’t necessarily have to be food-based. However, make sure it isn’t anything illegal/harmful like porno or drugs. You’ll end up suffering instead of having fun in the long-run.
