Steps
- Obtain a universal rear mount bike carrier.
- Open the rear hatch and attach the carrier using the mounting straps.
- Carefully close the hatch and tighten the straps.
- Mount your bike to the rack and secure it.
Tips
- It may be a good idea to use a Velcro style strap to attach the wheels to the frame of the bike to prevent them from spinning while you drive. A spinning wheel could rub against the car and damage your paint.
- Universal rear mounted bike carriers usually carry 2 - 3 bikes.
Warnings
- Do not leave your bike unattended while attached to the rear mounted bike carrier. The carrier is attached to the car with nylon straps that could be easily cut and your bike taken.
