Delete a Facebook Page

Deleting a Facebook page that you manage will remove all content associated with the page. You can delete a page from within its settings on both desktop and mobile platforms. If you're trying to delete your Facebook account and profile page, please see Permanently Delete a Facebook Account.

Steps

Using iOS

  1. Open the Facebook app.
  2. Tap . This is in the bottom right corner of your screen.
  3. Tap Pages.
  4. Tap the page you wish to delete.
  5. Tap the horizontal . You can find this option in the top right corner of your screen.
  6. Tap Edit Settings.
  7. Tap General.
  8. Tap "Permanently delete [page name]".
  9. Tap Delete Page. You have successfully deleted a Facebook page!

Using Android

  1. Open the Facebook app.
  2. Tap . This is in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Tap Pages.
  4. Tap the page you wish to delete.
  5. Tap the horizontal . It should be in the top right corner of your screen.
  6. Tap Edit Settings.
  7. Tap General.
  8. Tap "Permanently delete [page name]".
  9. Tap Delete Page. Your Facebook page should now be gone!

Using a PC or Mac

  1. Navigate to Facebook.
  2. Click the Pages menu. This is the downward-facing arrow in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. Click Manage Pages. You may also see the page you wish to delete at the top of the Pages menu.[1]
  4. Click the page you wish to delete.
  5. Click Settings. You can find this in the top right corner of your page.
  6. Click Remove Page.
  7. Click "Permanently delete [page name]".
  8. Click Delete. Your Facebook page should now be gone!

Tips

  • In order to delete a Facebook page, you must be the creator (or an administrator) of the page.

Warnings

  • Once your page is gone, you cannot retrieve it.
