Delete a Profile Picture on Facebook on iPhone or iPad
This article teaches you how to delete a current or past Facebook profile picture using your iPhone or iPad.
Steps
Deleting Your Current Picture
- Open Facebook. It’s the green icon with a white “F” typically found on the home screen.
- If you’re not currently signed in, enter your login credentials to do so now.
- Tap your profile picture. It’s near the top-left corner of the screen next to the “What’s on your mind?” box.
- Select View Profile Picture. Your picture will open in full-screen mode.
- Tap ⋯. It’s at the top-right corner of the picture.
- Tap Delete Photo.
- Tap Delete to confirm. The picture is now deleted from your profile.
Deleting Past Pictures
- Open Facebook. It’s the green icon with a white “F” typically found on the home screen.
- If you’re not currently signed in, enter your login credentials to do so now.
- Tap your profile picture. It’s near the top-left corner of the screen next to the “What’s on your mind?” box.
- Tap Photos. It’s the button between “About” and “Friends” near the top of your profile.
- Tap Albums. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap Profile Pictures. You may have to scroll down to find this album.
- Tap the picture you want to delete. This opens the picture in full-screen mode.
- Tap ⋯. It’s at the top-right corner of the picture.
- Tap Delete Photo.
- Tap Delete to confirm. The picture is no longer in your Profile Pictures album.
