Do a 180 Power Slide on Your Bike

Doing 180s can be really fun if you do them right.

Steps

  1. Find yourself a flat path such as a bike lane.
  2. Tighten up your R brakes so they lock up.
  3. If doing this on a dry path, get up to a high speed. If this is being done on wet ground, don't go that fast as you'll get flung off.
  4. Lean your body weight to one side, hit the rear brake and keep it on.
  5. At the same time, turn your handle bars to the way you want to slide. You should spin round 180.

Tips

  • BMX bikes are best.
  • Use old tires.

Warnings

  • Doing this all the time will wear out your tires.
  • Wear a helmet!
