Download Maplestory

This is how to download MapleStory, the world's first side-scrolling, massively multi-player online role-playing game. It's free!

Steps

First go to the region that you play MapleStory on.
Click on "Download. The location will vary depending on what region you are playing in.
Check the requirements to play Maple Story. An easy way to check is to use System Requirements lab. Just type in "Maple Story" or select it in the drop down list. After installing it, they will show the results.
Download the game client(exe) - 2246MB(about)
Run the setup. Follow the instructions to complete the setup.
Register at the MapleStory website you're playing in, if you haven't already.
- If you play Global MapleStory, log in and start the game. You can still play from the client, but you'll get a message telling you to play from the website.
- If you play Europe or SEA, just start the game and log on!

BasilMarket is a good auction site that checks prices in your server. Use it so you won't get ripped off when buying items in the Free Market.
If you play Brazil MS, it's strongly recommended to switch to GMS, because the developers in your region doesn't update the game (there isn't even pirates there!), high prices because of too much meso sellers, and the game will shut down in October. If you can, download the game from GMS and use an American proxy.

It takes a long time to download.It is highly suggested that you use a fast internet connection or a well known download manager.
Users from USA should not download from maplesea.com (official foreign site). Once installed, it will not allow you to login, saying your country's IP is blocked.
