Download Movies and TV Shows to Your iPad

The Apple iPad is the ideal portable device for watching movies or TV shows. You can bring it on an airplane, train, or anywhere you want and sit back and enjoy a relaxing movie. But before you do that, you have to make sure you know how to download a movie or show to your iPad. If you want to know how to do it, just follow these steps.

Steps

iTunes Store

  1. Go to the iTunes application on your iPad. Click on the little purple application with the musical note on it. The iTunes application should already be installed on your iPad. All you need for this method to work besides the application is a stable Internet connection.
  2. Go to the iTunes store. Just select this option at the top of iTunes. This will allow you to find a movie to download onto your iPad.
  3. Click “Movies.” You can find this option on the top middle of the screen.
  4. Browse through the movies. Look through the movies by categories, whether it’s bestsellers, or various genres. If you know what movie you want to download, just type the name in the search tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  5. Click on the movie you want to download. When you click on the movie, you’ll also be able to see more information about it, like the price to buy it or rent it, a synopsis, and ratings.
  6. Click “Buy.” You can find this option below the cover of the movie, on the left of the screen. You can also choose the “Rent” option if it’s available. You may have the option to choose whether or not you want to buy the move in HD.
    • Wait for it to finish downloading. This could take a few minutes or a bit longer depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
  7. Watch the movie. To do this, simply go to your Library, and select “Movies” from the drop-down menu on the top left of the screen. Then click on your movie and begin to watch it. You can also download the movie onto your computer through the iTunes store and then connect your iPad to your computer and transfer it to your iPad.

Video Conversion

  1. Download a video converter onto your computer. There are a variety of available video converters for Macs and PCs. Just search for a video converter that is reliable, free, and has high ratings. Once you find one, select the download option and wait for it to download to your computer. This could take a few minutes, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
  2. Find the movie you want to watch. Use the converter to search for the movie you want to watch. This will allow you to download it onto your iPad and play it back later, even if you don’t have an Internet connection.
  3. Download the movie. Once you’ve found the movie, click on the download option next to it and wait for it to download onto your computer.
  4. Choose the iPad as your output. This will ensure that the movie will download onto your iPad.
  5. Sync the movie to your iPad. Just connect your iPad to your computer and sync the movies to your iPad. Once they’re done syncing, you can disconnect your iPad from your computer and start enjoying the movies any time. Media Players

  1. Open iTunes on your iPad. Just click on the application to do this. To download a movie through the media player, you should already have a movie on your computer that you want to download.
  2. Click on the iTunes store. You can find this option on the top of your iTunes.
  3. Go to the App store. You can find this option at the top of the iTunes store.
  4. Find a media player. iMedia Player is a popular one, but any one that lets you watch movies on your iPad will do. Browse through all of the available media players and find one that suits you.
  5. Download a media player. Wait for the media player to finish downloading onto your iPad.
  6. Connect your iPad to your computer.
  7. Click on “iPad.”
  8. Click “Apps.”
  9. Open the media player you downloaded.
  10. Click “Add.” This will allow you to add a movie to it.
  11. Drag the movie into the media player. Find the file of the movie on your computer, and click on the file name and drag it into the media player.
  12. Wait for the movie to finish downloading onto your iPad.
  13. Click “Done.”
  14. Disconnect your iPad. You can return to the media player and select and watch the movie you downloaded at any time.

Tips

  • Please be patient. These downloads are mirrors of very busy servers. The download will not be very fast. It might take a few hours!
  • It might be helpful to test you download link in the safari browser of your iPad first. You should be able to watch the movie by internee stream this way. Then copy the link into the downloader if it works correctly and the quality is sufficient.
