Forget a Network on iPhone or iPad
This article teaches you how to forget a Wi-Fi network and stop automatically connecting to it on your iPhone or iPad.

Steps
- Open your iPhone or iPad's Settings. It looks like a gray gear icon on your device's Home screen.
- Tap Wi-Fi. This option will be next to a blue wireless icon at the top of your Settings menu.
- Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the "On" position. The switch will be at the top of your screen. It will turn green.
- Tap the ⓘ icon next to a Wi-Fi network. You will see a list of all available wireless networks around you when you turn on Wi-Fi. Tap this button to bring up the info page for a network.
- Tap Forget This Network. It will open a pop-up box to confirm your action.
- If you don't see this option on the info page, go back to the Wi-Fi page and connect to this network.
- Tap Forget. This will confirm your action and forget this network. When you forget a Wi-Fi network, your phone will stop automatically connecting to this network.
- If you want to connect to this Wi-Fi network again in the future, you might have to enter a security password.
