Feel Safe on a Plane

Many people feel unsafe and uncomfortable while on a plane. Read this article to find out how to feel safe on a plane.

Steps

  1. At the takeoff and landing, distract yourself. Read a book, listen to music, knit, just distract yourself!
  2. When you're airborne, sleep, drink, knit, read, just stay occupied and think happy thoughts.
  3. Ask a safety plan, like what to do if the plane crashes, where the air masks are, etc.

Tips

  • If there's a kid traveling alone, talk to them, make her and you feel more comfortable.
  • If you need some alone time or just need to walk around, when it's safe, get up and travel (no pun intended) to the bathroom. You don't even have to use the bathroom. Splash water in your face, straiten your shirt, whatever.
  • Make friends with the person sitting next to you!

Warnings

  • Don't annoy people with loud music, bright book lights, or pointy needles flying around, just don't get yourself kicked off the plane!
  • Also, it is highly not recommended to watch any sort of air crash investigation, as it may make other passengers anxious.
