Get a Guy to Like You in Eighth Grade

Think there is a boy you like in your class? Are you in 8th grade? Read on to learn ways to get him to like you.

Steps

  1. Get him to notice you. Look at him occasionally in class. If he looks back, smile.
  2. Get to know his activities.Look at the shirts he wears. If he wears plenty of sports shirts, educate yourself on the teams he wears. Keep up on changes to the team. If he wears a lot of rock band t-shirts, get to know the bands he has on the shirts. Even if you don't like those bands, it doesn't hurt to know of them.
  3. Help him if he needs something. Say he forgot a pencil/pen, lend him one. If he forgets his textbook or notes, let him look at yours. Offer to share your materials with him.
  4. Talk to him. Once you get to know him (see Step 2), talk to him about sports, bands, etc. Just find an excuse to talk to him, and don't forget, talk to him often.
  5. Flirt - See the page How to Flirt
  6. Get to know his friends. That way you will be able to know more about who he is as a person.
  7. Don't be shy.
  8. Be yourself.

Tips

  • Make him feel comfortable and willing to talk around you!
  • Make sure not to rush or annoy him!
  • Be confident about yourself and make eye contact.
  • Be funny and have a good sense of humor
  • Don't focus your conversations on you. Talk about school, sports, bands, etc. Anything that you think would interest your guy.
  • Just take it one step at a time
  • Remember! If it doesn't work out, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
  • Try to smile when you see him and try to hang out with him. Just don't over do it. He might get annoyed or freaked out by you.

Warnings

  • Do not make him think you are stalking him.
  • Do not stare when you're looking at him. Look at him often but only for a few seconds. If he catches you gazing, make sure to look away, possibly blush or something. (It will make you seem a whole lot sweeter)
  • If he stares at you try to catch him, then smile and do a small little wave in his direction (pretend you're waving at a friend)
