Get a Job at a Movie Theater if You Are Under 16

Getting a job at a movie theater can be a great first job!

Steps

  1. Check out your state's labor laws. Some states may require that you are over 16 in order to work at a movie theater.
  2. Call the movie theater you are interested in working at, or look them up on the web. Most of the major theater chains will have their age requirements readily posted.
  3. You are probably better off looking at local theater's than the chains. Many, such as Regal Entertainment Group, require even their ushers to be 16.
  4. If you look up all of the theaters in your area, I'm sure you may find one that is hiring 14-15 year olds!
