Get the Most out of Your Office Space
Do you think your office space is crowded and unorganized? Here are some great tips for you to get rid of that feeling and increase your productivity.

Steps
- Set up the limits (physical or not) of your office. Cubicle, room or part of a room, your office is your personal space. Make use of all of it.
- Eliminate anything that is not connected directly to work. If you find that personal objects can distract you (relax you) from time to time, find a place for them, but use moderation. A set of pictures would do the job.
- Organize your desk and your office according to your needs.
- Don't mess up things. Keep everything clean and in place. Do this daily. If you disregard your daily order, you're lost.
- Don't hesitate to update your order. Generally, stick to one simple set of rules, established in the first place. This will save you time on the long run.
- Try to see what habits of yours tend to create a mess. Fight against them.
- Take a second look from the outside every once in a while. You might find important details you can structure better.
Tips
- Be adequate. This is probably the most important aspect of all.
- Do not, under no circumstance, try to relax in your office. On the one hand, you won't get the spare time you're looking for; on the other, you'll soon get to the impression that your office is a multi-purpose space. That's just false.
Warnings
- Beware the teddy bears. Office space has the weird tendency to accumulate useless, "cute" objects as of something distracting and fun. They're neither. Instead of relaxing you, they add silly variation you have no need of.
