Hang 5 on a Scooter

Hey are you having trouble with Hang 5's on your scooter? Well here's the tutorial.

Steps

  1. Start off with foot position. Put your riding foot closer to the front of the deck (easiest next to or behind the headtube) and leave out other foot hanging off the deck.
  2. Push the hanging foot when it reaches the front of the scooter. Lean forward and use the hanging foot to balance, moving it forward and back.
  3. Focus on the trick and nothing else and don't worry about wrecking and you will be able to balance for longer.
  4. Practise. Just keep practising and remember try to get it 3 seconds or longer otherwise it doesn't count.

Tips

  • Focus on the trick and nothing else.
  • Try to keep it over 5 seconds.
  • You you are gonna want a decent amount of speed for this trick
  • Don't worry about stacking.
  • The smoother the pavement the easier it will be
  • Keep practicing and you'll end up getting it.
  • If you're a bit scared of doing this, then get a Pro-Tec helmet and if it helps you get pads.

Warnings

  • It won't work if your foot is on the headtube.
  • This trick involves a risk of face-planting so be careful.
