Install LED Interior Lights on a Dodge RAM

This article explains how to insert LED bulbs in the front map lights and the rear dome lights for the Dodge Ram.

Steps

1. Use a prying tool to remove the front map light covers.
2. Replace with an LED bulb for each light. If the LED does not light up, simply flip it 180 degrees. Once everything works, put back the map light covers.
3. Use the prying tool to open the rear dome light cover.
4. Replace with LED bulbs. Make sure that all of the LED bulbs light up.
   
   
5. Put the dome light cover back in place.
6. Start the engine and check the dashboard. If there is no error light, it has been correctly installed.

Tips

• If the LED bulb does not light up, simply flip it 180 degrees.

Warnings

• The stock bulb can be hot, so you need to turn the light off and wait for the bulb to cool down before removing it with your hand. Or, using a plastic pry tool to pop out the bulb. Never use a screwdriver or other metals or else you may burn the fuse.
