Install Mods for Minecraft Using MCPatcher
Minecraft is a simulation game in which the player is required to gather resources and build shelter. A community of game developers, programmers, and gamers have created modifications ("mods" for short) to enhance the gameplay experience. MCPatcher is a program that allows these mods to be installed easily without fear of corrupting the game.

- Download the MCPatcher program. There are various websites from where it can be obtained.
- Run the application. Mods are loaded from this window, along with several pre-installed mods.
- Click the "+" on the bottom of the window. This opens a file browser from which new mods can be added. By default, it opens to the Minecraft installation directory.
- Navigate to a mod which is intended to be incorporated. Note that only compressed folders (".zip" files) can be used.
- Select the mod, then click "Open". A new windows will open displaying the folders within the archive.
- Click "OK". A new window will open displaying the individual files contained in the mod.
- Click "OK". The name of the mod will be displayed in a list with those which were preloaded.
- Click "Patch". MCPatcher will incorporate the files into the Minecraft game.
- Click "Test Minecraft". This will start the game as a test to check if the mod is functioning. A log will be made for troubleshooting purposes. If Minecraft opens with no errors, the mod installed as it should have.
Tips
- Before adding the mod, Make sure you add and patch a mod directory called Modloader.then you could add the mod. Remember : Only modloader!
- Use the "-" to remove mods.
Warnings
- Note that not all mods are compatible with each other; conflicting mods may cause the game to crash.
- Some mods may require other mods to function properly.
