- Determine what makes the person feel happy. The idea behind love really is to be happy when others are. If you notice that this person is happy for your success, well-being, and joy, they are more likely to love you.
- Stay away from this person for a while, purposefully. This means no phone conversations, no instant messaging, and disrupt any communication methods that you both use. If you come across them again in a few weeks or perhaps even a month, take note of their excitement. You can tell whether they really missed you or not at all.
- Change your looks. Put a bit of style, something that makes you look different, not strange nor less attractive but enough to make people notice. - If you have just gone into a relationship try taking your time beforehand the next time. Make that person earn your trust, make them really love you for what you are; if there is a lot of rushing, chances are higher for lust.
