Make Basil Pesto Pasta
Basil pesto pasta is a favorite dish for many people.
Ingredients
- A handful of fresh basil
- About a cup of pine nuts
- 7-8 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Fettuccine pasta (as much as you want)
- Parmesan or mozzarella cheese (optional)
Steps
- Chop the pine nuts with a knife or herb chopper.
- Chop the fresh basil and 2 cloves of garlic. Chop until the garlic and basil are finely chopped.
- Add just about 7-8 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix the basil and garlic together in a bowl.
- Put the fettuccine pasta in for boiling.
- After the pasta is cooked, drain the water out. Put the pasta on a plate.
- Put the pesto on the pasta. Mix it up.
- Add Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.
- Finished.
Tips
- Olive oil is essential or the taste doesn't get enhanced.
- Make sure that the basil is fresh.
- Try Parmesan cheese or mozzarella for a boost.
