Make Cherry Bombs

You've had these little gems at bars before. Now you can get blown away at home.

Steps

  1. Open and empty the syrup from a jar of cherries. Leave about 1/4 of an inch of syrup at the bottom of the jar.
  2. Fill the jar with Everclear.
  3. Close the jar and put in refrigerator.
  4. Let sit at least 24 hours (the longer the better).
  5. Pop a cherry in your mouth and enjoy!

Tips

  • Other types of alcohol may work.
  • Mark the jar of your fixed cherries.
  • If you use a larger jar of cherries, leave some more syrup to help the color.
  • Add red hot candies if you would like.
  • Do not give cherry bombs to children.

Warnings

  • The longer they sit the more potent they get. Do not eat too many!

  • Jar of maraschino cherries
  • Everclear (190 proof alcohol)
  • Refrigerator
