Make a Corretto (Espresso Corretto)
Espresso corretto is the Italian equivalent of a "corrected" espresso. "Corrected" with a splash of grappa or brandy that is. Find out more here.
Steps
- Get hold of some dark roasted espresso beans. Oily-looking is the choice bean here. Use the darkest of the espresso coffee beans. Traditional Italian Style!
- You want to grind these espresso beans until they are very fine.
- Pack the grinds into the group (handle) of the espresso machine.
- Place a your cup/s under the group. Turn on your espresso machine. You should see a hazel brown cream appear at the surface of the coffee when its finished.
- Add a splash of grappa or brandy!
