Make Mint Truffles
Mint truffles are romantic to share with your loved ones, but you don't need to have anyone over in order to make these treats. Mint truffles only require simple ingredients that are easily found, so you could eat these every day!

Ingredients
- 1 packet mint chocolate chips (approximately 10 oz)
- 1/3 cup whipped cream
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 packet of cocoa powder
Steps
- Put the mint chocolate chips, whipped cream and butter/margarine in a saucepan and heat it over low heat. Stir it occasionally.
- Once it is melted, pour it into a pie pan.
- Put it into the refrigerator until it is fudgy and soft. This will take approximately 2 hours.
- Once it is fudgy and soft, take about {{safesubst:#invoke:convert|convert}} of it and shape it into a ball using your palms. Place the balls on wax paper
- Place the cocoa powder in a shallow bowl
- Roll the balls in cocoa powder until they are fully coated.
- Finished.
Tips
- Sprinkles, powdered sugar, nuts or cookie crumbs can be substitutes for cocoa powder. These are to add flavors to the truffles and prevent the truffles from melting in your fingers.
