Make Quick and Easy Rice Pudding
Homey rice pudding is a comfy dessert. The following recipe uses quick cooking rice and Splenda.

Ingredients
- 1 cup instant rice, such as Minute Rice
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 4 tablespoons Splenda Granular or 1/2 cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, or nutmeg
- ¼ cup raisins, optional
1/2 table spoons vanilla extract (optional)
Steps
- Add all ingredients to a 2 to 3-quart saucepan.
- Mix.
- Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
- Cover and let stand 12 to 15 minutes.
- Stir occasionally during standing time.
- Serve warm with sweetened whipped cream or plain cream poured over the top.
- Serves 4.
Tips
- You could sprinkle some cinnamon on top for flavor.
- This is a quick and thrifty dessert.
- May use granulated sugar instead of Splenda.
- May also use Soy Milk for Vegetarians or Vegans
