Make Tortilla Pizzas
This is an easy homemade recipe. You can make a plain cheese Tortilla pizza or add almost any topping you prefer. Easy crust. Save time and money. Have fun!
Ingredients
Time: 25 minutes to prepare (including prep).
- Soft flour tortillas (preferably larger ones)
- Pizza sauce or any sauce you like
- Shredded Cheese (use at least 2 kinds or mixes)
- Desired toppings such as pepperoni, onions, green pepper, olives, tomatoes, and/or basil leaves
Steps
- Pre-heat the oven at 415F.
- Take the tortilla and lay it flat on the pan.
- Spread pizza sauce on the tortilla.
- Sprinkle generous amounts of shredded cheese.
- Add Toppings (if desired)peppers, onions, meat.
- Sprinkle another layer of shredded cheese.
- Place in preheated oven on cookie sheet (cooks in about 15 min).
- Remove from oven using mitts when edges are browned & crisp.
- Melt the cheese and let stand for about 3 minutes.
- Cut the crispy crust with a pizza cutter into 4 slices.
- Use a spatula to place on plates to serve.
- Share your Tortilla Pizza or eat it all by yourself.
Tips
- Use what you have in your refrigerator.
- Use last night's leftovers - roasted chicken? Shred it and add
- Keep your slices manageable - spread out the toppings
- The idea is to have fun making this
- Cook as a full meal or as a snack
- Make a few different types and share with friends and family
- It's fine if it is not perfect. You are still learning.
