Make a Rustica Pizza

You'll love the great flavor of this traditional Italian treat!

Ingredients

  • Dough
    • 175g flour
    • 30g butter
    • 12cl milk
    • salt
  • Toppings
    • tomato sauce
    • 1 aubergine (eggplant), diced
    • 1 courgette (zucchini), diced
    • 50g red pepper and 50g green pepper in cubes
    • 1 red onion
    • chopped garlic (however much you wish to add)
    • a bit basil
    • 100g mozzarella
    • pepper and salt
    • olive oil

Steps

  1. Make the dough using flour, butter, milk and salt.
  2. Cut the vegetables, the garlic and the onion and put it on a plate in the oven for 20 minutes until they become a little dark on the outside.
  3. Grease the dough with olive oil.
  4. Put the dough on a plate and make a bottom.
  5. Cover the dough with the tomato sauce.
  6. Put the grilled vegetables on the pizza.
  7. Cut the mozzarella in cubes and put it on the pizza.
  8. Sprinkle the basil on top.
  9. Cook the pizza in the oven for 18 minutes at 200 degrees centigrade.
  10. Finished.



Tips

  • Check regularly that the pizza isn't burning.
