Make a Brewing Stand in Minecraft

Gathering Materials

  1. Collect three cobblestone blocks. You can do this by mining a stone block with any pickaxe. Cobblestone can be found:
  2. Go to the Nether and kill a blaze for one blaze rod. They will always drop only one blaze rod. You will need to kill more if you plan on making more than one brewing stand.
    • The Nether is home to six mobs: Ghasts, Magma Cubes, Wither Skeletons, Skeletons, Zombie Pigmen, and Blazes. Blazes have yellow skin and black eyes. They can spawn only in Nether Fortresses.
    • Blazes, in addition to being harmed by normal weapons, can be hurt significantly by snowballs. They cannot be hurt by fire or lava, like all mobs in the Nether.

Crafting a Brewing Stand

  1. Go to your crafting bench.
  2. Place three cobblestone pieces on the bottom of the lower 1/3 of the grid.
  3. Place the blaze rod in the middle square of the middle 1/3 of the grid.
  4. Craft your brewing stand. On the right, the brewing stand should appear. Now left click it and drag it into your inventory.
