Make a Pantyhose Choker Necklace

These hardcore rocking necklaces are the coolest things ever, and you can make a lot with a pair of pantyhose.

Steps

Selecting the Pantyhose

  1. Find a pair of pantyhose in the color of your choice. Neutral also works (as shown in these images) but you may like to match the color to an outfit or choose a color that you like the most.

Transforming Pantyhose into a Necklace

  1. Choose one leg of the pantyhose. Focus on the largest part of it (usually the upper thigh).
  2. Cut a piece of pantyhose about 1 to 2 inches (2.5cm - 5cm) wide. Make sure that it is still a complete, closed circle after cutting.
  3. Roll it. The piece should roll up by itself so it is less than a centimeter thick. If not, use your fingers to roll it up.

Wearing the Pantyhose Necklace

  1. Wear it. Because it's so stretchy, you can stretch it over your head and around your neck. It won't be tight because of the stretchiness, and it's awesomely stylish and unique!

Tips

  • Pantyhose can be found in dollar stores, supermarkets, department stores and fashion outlets.
  • If it gets too stretchy or it's too big, use a lower, smaller part of the pantyhose
  • Use all different colors! Plain colors are less noticeable and not as much fun.
  • Wear up to two pantyhose at once.

  • A pair of pantyhose in the color of your choice (neutral, pastel, black or white, bright, etc.); tights will also work provided they're stretchy
  • Scissors
