Make the Perfect Date for Your Parents on Valentine
Everyone loves their parents, right? Do they seem apart lately? Why don't you set up a beautiful Valentines date for them that might turn things around by getting them out of the day to day grind and into the courtship atmosphere that originally sealed the deal.
Steps
- Make the dining room table look beautiful! Put a tablecloth on it that either means something to your parents, or that fits the romantic scene.
- Order (or make) one of their favorite meals! They'll love it, and it'll give them something to talk about on their 'date'.
- Place some flowers on the table where they will be eating. They'll smell and look beautiful.
- Play some soft classical music.
- Light some candles! Lower the lights! Try to make a dim scene. Can't lower the lights? Just turn them off and place candles in a safe place. Try to go for flower or unscented candles.
- Serve them! If you act as their waiter, it'll almost feel like that they're at a romantic dinner out in the town.
- Give them a little space. Sometimes they need to be alone with each other for it to be romantic.
