Pamper Your Wife

At the beginning of your relationship, you probably swept your wife off her feet with the way you pampered her. As time passes, the pampering may slowly have gotten replaced by the humdrum realities of daily life. If you need some great ideas to make your wife bask in the warm glow of your love once again, keep reading after the jump.

Steps

  1. Compliment her sincerely and often. Women love to know that they are appreciated for who they are and what they do. Give her your compliments often and whenever appropriate. Appreciate her efforts in caring for you and your children.
  2. When she comes home from the office or when you do, meet her as if this is what you were waiting for all day. You may be feeling low because of what happened at work, but don’t vent it immediately. All you must show now is how glad you are to see her again.
  3. Allow her to sleep in. If you have to wake her up, give her a cup of hot tea.
  4. Talk to her for a while every day. Share with her your experiences of the day. Let her speak about hers. If she has not had a good day or has some complaints, say you understand, and see if you can help her feel better. Don’t allow any day to pass by without this. You may be spending time together, as in shopping together, or cooking together. But dedicate some time for talking alone and listen to her.
  5. Give her flowers without any occasion. You can also gift her occasionally. It does not have to be something expensive. Something thoughtful and useful to her will make her even happier.
  6. Take over her chores on weekends. She’s often the one with the primary responsibility of home and children, even if she is working outside of home. On a weekend, take over her chores and allow her a day out if she feels like it.
  7. Be her best friend. Cheer her when she’s gloomy, tell her something funny often. Respect her parents. Befriend her friends. Encourage her to share her thoughts. If she is feeling cranky, let her vent for a while and then ask her if she’s all right or if she needs you to help her. Celebrate her successes and help her get over the lows of life. This can take time and patience, but ultimately it will let you know her mind, and you will be able to pamper her like no one else.
