Plan a Romantic Scavenger Hunt for Valentine's Day

It sounds hard; all the planning and solving, but it's not! You can make a romantic scavenger hunt to surprise your loved one on Valentine's Day if you follow the steps in this article.

Steps

  1. Go for the hunt. The people involved and the point of the hunt. Who's the hunt for? Whoever it is, if they have a loved one such as a pet, boyfriend/girlfriend, or relative, hide that person in a large cardboard box, in a closet, or any hiding place. Have the person/animal that will be found kiss the searcher when she finds him/her.
  2. Come up with hints for the searcher and solver. Plan cute, corny love hints/notes for the searcher such as, "Go to the place where we keep our corn, but where I never blow my horn!" (refrigerator, where another note hint will be placed). At the last destination, put a note that says, "Go to the (name of hiding place). What could you find?". The hider will be waiting! Do part of the hunt outside of the house (place where the hider is).
  3. Know the outcome. Put a lot of effort into this hunt, because the end is the event! Leave the searcher alone in a room and let him/her figure it out while maybe hiding with the hider or watching from a place with a good view of the surprise. Wait, and then show the surprise! How did it go? Was he/she happy? Was he/she mad, sad, or grateful? Tell him/her you planned it for him/her to be happy! He/she will probably love it.

Tips

  • Put a lot of effort into the steps!
  • Don't make this too dull.

Warnings

  • Do not bring the hider and/or searcher into an unsafe place. This is a harmful decision.
