- Make sure that you know he is into you. If he doesn't like you, then he won't make very many moves on you. Thus, you won't be able to play hard to get.
- If he makes a move like, "Can I have your number," then give it to him if you want to talk to him. However, if he asks you something like "Would you like to go to dinner, or the movies" then this is where you start by saying something like, "No, I think I have other plans with my friends," or "I have to study this weekend for Monday's test." This may be difficult because if you like the boy, then you would probably like to go with him. But as I said before, guys love it when they have to work for you.
- Act like you aren't interested in him, even if you really are. If he walks up to you, then say something like, "Oh there is my friend (friend's name)" and walk away. Not only does it leave him wanting more, but it leaves him knowing that you aren't interested.
- If he asks you out to be his girlfriend, then say something like "Well I'm not sure" or something like "I will have to think about it." He will most likely ask you again, but after a while, you can say yes. However, some guys will only ask once and give up if they see you're not interested and move on.

- Be nice to his friends but not in a flirty way. Boys like it when you can be nice to his friends too and not just to him
- If it comes to the stage that he might give up on you, and you are very confident and you love him so much, then don't be afraid and kiss him on the lips or on the cheek.
- Flirt with him but don't make it obvious, just twirl and flick your hair.
- Comment on his clothes but don't go overboard
- Pretend that you like someone else. Even if you don't, then make someone up and tell him that you like the other one. This may be a little hard but, that's why we call it HARD to get.
