Put Together a Sexy Halloween Costume

If you want to look hot for Halloween, follow these tips.

Steps

  1. Think of what sounds like a good costume. A black cat, vampire, devil, model, mouse, Greek goddess and an angel are some starter ideas. You can try those, but be aware that some are very common and a bit boring. Other sexier costumes are referee, nurse, policewoman etc. Think of your style and what you like. Try to be original; if you're going to wear a common costume, add something to it that will make it unique.
  2. Wear some makeup, if it's part of your costume It is Halloween, so you can wear as much as you like. Also, make sure the makeup goes with your costume; for example, if you're dressing up as a devil, you might want to wear red eye shadow and blush. You can also use nail polish if you'd like to.
  3. Accessorize! These are important depending on your costume. If you're going to be an angel, make sure you have the proper accessories a halo, the soft white dress, wings, etc. You could also wear a wig to look different.
  4. Wear dresses that go with your costume and show off your legs. However, that does not mean that you need to around half naked if it makes you uncomfortable and just because it's Halloween. Dress appropriately for the occasion; you don't have to show skin to be sexy and it is not good for an office party.
  5. Be confident!. Yes, confidence is a big part of putting together and wearing a sexy Halloween costume. Imagine in your mind a shy and sad person walking around with their head down and their back slouched. Now imagine an outgoing and happy person strutting around with their head up and their shoulders thrown back. Which one sounds sexier to you?

Tips

  • Make tails or ears for animal costumes -- they look good and cute.
  • Try to match everything in the same color. If you're a vampire, wear a red (or black) outfit and matching shoes.
  • Get a simple but cute hairstyle
  • The makeup you wear will look better if it has the same tone of color that your clothes have.
  • Don't put on full face make-up if you wear eye-glasses.
  • Wear matching thigh-high boots, or knee socks and heels.
  • Try high heels- but at your own risk, that is, if you will be trick-or-treating. You'd be walking around concrete all evening so at least wear comfortable shoes.
  • Try leggings and cute tights
  • Get colorful tights, and wear fishnet tights over them
  • Match with your friends
  • Parents must approve, if you're a kid.

Warnings

  • Don't overdo it. There's a difference between looking sexy and overt. Look in the mirror before you buy your costume to decide if it's too risqué and inappropriate for the occasion.
  • Don't wear a babyish costume, though you can make an old pirate look sexy with hoops and lacy black stuff.
  • If you are going trick-or-treating, or taking walk to or from a party after dark, be sure to wear enough light colors to be clearly seen by drivers.
  • Don't go out alone! If something goes wrong, witnesses may not be able to clearly identify either you or others involved. Halloween has the tendency to bring out the worst in some people, so be extremely cautious about where you go and who you go with.
  • Don't go out in almost see through clothes if you are going Trick or Treating in cold weather. Keep climates in mind when deciding on your costume.
