Steps

  4. Tap Two-Step Verification.
  5. Tap Enable.
  6. Enter a 6-digit code. This is the code you’ll have to enter when you verify your WhatsApp account.[1]
  7. Enter your email address. Make sure this address is accurate, as it will be your only way back into WhatsApp if you forget your 6-digit code.
  8. Tap Next. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the keyboard. Two-Step verification is now enabled for WhatsApp.
