So you've just bought your first car, and wondering what's a seat belt, and how to wear it. A seat belt (also known as safety belt), is a belt used in cars and planes to secure the driver and the riders from injuries while having a sudden stop or a car accident. In some countries, it's against the law to drive without wearing a seat belt, so it's better to know how to wear your seat belt before driving anywhere.

Steps
- Get into your car.
- Hold your seatbelt.
- Wear the seatbelt correctly. Pull the seatbelt, and wear the lap belt snug and low over the pelvic bones.
- Click the seat belt latch. Put the end of the seatbelt, which is made from metal into the latch. Click on the latch red button, and push the metal part to it.
- You could test the seat latch to check whether it's working or not by clicking on the latch (after wearing the seatbelt). It the seatbelt got unlatched, then the latch isn't secure, and you need to call someone to fix it.
- Fix any twisted parts. The belt should be straight on your body and doesn't have some twisted parts. To fix it, keep sliding the belt until it get fixed.
