So you think you're a geek, in fact you know you are one. You take the geek test, overuse the computer, why, you might even program it! And you want to ask a guy to a dance, but you're afraid that he'll say no, because you're a geek. Don't be so insecure!

  1. Make sure they at least respect you. Don't act superior or be a "know-it-all", just be nice and help everyone out. This will help your reputation a bit.
  2. Try to find some other personality traits. Are you musical or funny, for examples? Accentuate such qualities in front of your potential date.
  3. Make sure you feel comfortable with your new and improved self. Confidence is key.
  4. Ask in a cute geeky manner. People should respect your geekiness, but don't overdo the cute geeky style.
  5. Incorporate something he likes. If he likes soccer, get a soccer ball and write the question and your name on it.
  6. Be confident. If you're insecure about your inner geek, and keep thinking about it, it will stand out further to other people.
  7. If all else fails, talk about the "Star Wars" or "Back to the Future" films. Almost all guys have their own geeky side.

  • Also remember, most of the time guys don't really care. Guys only look for a few things in a girl, and not being a geek is not one of them. In fact, being a geek probably helps those things guys do look for.
  • Remember, Geek is sexy. Follow the girl-geek code, and believe in your inner sexy beast.
  • Being comfortable with yourself is key. Explore and find other things you are good at. But the most important thing is to be friendly.
